Pinsy founder and CEO Ratchel Pinlac started wearing shapewear when she was just nine years old—you read that right, nine years old. She grew up believing that shapewear was made to hide our “flawed” bodies—but our bodies aren’t flawed, and they sure as hell don’t need to be hidden.

Marrying body positivity with a vision of shapewear-as-outerwear, Ratchel became a woman on a mission: To make shapewear that actually accentuates a woman’s figure, feels comfortable all day, and isn’t an embarrassment. Three years of research and development later, Pinsy was born.
